Welcome to the website of Intermath!
On this site pupils, teachers and parents can find information on the Mathematics programme for the Primary Cycle of the European Schools.
Mathematical understanding influences decision-making in all areas of life. In shopping: how much change do I get, how big is the reduction? In sports: am I faster than last time, how many goals do we need to score to become champions? In cooking: how much flour do I need if we are six instead of four persons, what fraction of the pie is left? In decorating the house: how much wall paper do I need for 10 square metres? And so on, and so on. Therefore, it’s with good reason that Mathematics is a key competence in education.
Intermath is our core teaching tool for Mathematics. It has been especially developed for the European schools and is available for all language sections. The programme is complemented with two sets of digital resources :
Matific: a set of online digital resources for teachers to introduce or review maths concepts and for students use in school and at home.
Interactive Pages: Resources directly related to the content of the Intermath textbooks to help teachers introduce or review the content of the pages and print out differentiated worksheets or special challenges.
